Go Wild!

The newest addition to the WILDSERIES events, this 2-day trail run takes you through the wilderness of the Nambiti Private Game reserve. This is for all the trail enthusiasts who are keen on experiencing a wild run in a Big 5 reserve. This event will be raising funds for the anti-poaching unit that work tirelessly to protect our beloved heritage and wildlife.

We have a limit of 250 runners for this inaugural event and runners will have to run and in pairs. You can either enter as a team or enter individually and you will be paired with another individual runner. . The event will be a 2-day run comprising of a 22km run on Saturday ending with a 16km run on Sunday, covering a total of 38km. This event is designed for families, friends, and colleagues who like to explore adventure and camaraderie together for a good cause.

The main race village will be on the Elandsvlei Farm bordering the reserve, where we have limited space to cater for only 100 runners. We encourage runners that don’t make the first “100” to book into one of the 9 beautiful lodges within Nambiti.

This challenge is a guaranteed adventure with loads of surprises hiding away in the wilderness.

COMPETITION

First 100 entries will go into a lucky draw and stand a chance to be 1 of 4 pairs to win a private game drive at the Nambiti Private Game Reserve.

If you live in an around Nambiti, you qualify for a discount on entry fees as part of our “locals” package.

  • Race Village: R5 500 per team
  • R2 750 Individual entry
  • Non-Race Village: R4 700 per team
  • R2 350 Individual entry

Local Entry Fees – Nambiti/Ladysmith Radius

  • Race village: R4 675 per team
  • R2 337.50 Individual entry
  • Non-race village: R3 995 per team
  • R1 997.50 Individual entry

We will have a locals’ fun prize category at the event to showcase the Kings and Queens of your local running community!
